Unit Clerk – Cardio-Respiratory Medicine (3M) – St. Joseph's Health Centre – Toronto, ON Other

Qualifications:

• Secondary school diploma required.
• Recent experience as a Unit Clerk or other clerical experience.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills with proficiency using email and Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required with a Certificate in Medical Terminology preferred.
• Working knowledge of Meditech, MediPay, and Teletracking preferred.
• Basic mathematical/numerical skills and experience ordering supplies.
• Polite & efficient telephone manner.
• Proven ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Able to work well under pressure & co-operate with all Health Centre staff and patients.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work in an environment with death and dying issues.
• Satisfactory attendance record.
