IO’s Procurement and Program Management Enterprise Team provides professional support and commercial advice to all parts of the agency through procurement, budgeting, and performance management. The Procurement office is a global leader among public sector entities in the procurement of large capital infrastructure projects. The Program Management office oversees capital project cost estimation, budgeting and financial forecasting, quality, process control, continuous improvement, compliance and governance, reporting, and analytics functions across the agency.

What You Will Do:
Deliver risk management training pertaining to the IO Risk Management Framework and within the context of broader Project Controls
Manage relevant stakeholder engagement through the implementation and maintenance of comprehensive project risk registers for both transaction and construction phases of projects.
Oversee as well as build and run regular, detailed Quantitative Risk Analysis (both cost and schedule) and the use of outputs to inform project-level reporting, contingency validation and management.
Manage the intake of timely and high-quality data and analysis within the Active Risk Manager (ARM) database for the dedicated project scope.
Develop & manage the update of metrics for project reporting related to risk management process health, contingency usage / drawdown, mitigation spend etc.
Assists in the development of Risk Management key linkages, reporting relationships and interfaces from the Project level through to Enterprise function (ERM)
Who We’re Looking For:
5-7 years of experience in Risk Management within Project Controls or Construction Management environment, ideally for Capital Projects.
Post-secondary in related field, or equivalent work experience
PMP and/or Certificate in Risk Management CRM are an asset
Familiarity with and understanding of QCRA/QSRA(Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis/Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis) methods and software platforms
Excellent communication, relationship building experience and analytical skills.
Work well under pressure, is confident, organized, good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
