Construction Manager- Breakwater/ Marine Structures – Edecs eldawlia for engineering and contracting Contract Contractor

Manage the oversight of the heavy marine structure and huge breakwater project. Apply highly engineering technical skills as a subject matter expert in the coordination of planning, design, construction, value engineering, cost estimating, risk assessment, and scheduling. Provide expert opinions, prepare high-level reports, and deliver presentations. 

Possesses strong management and leadership skills, driving the successful completion of projects while also communicating effectively to multi-disciplined groups. 

This position will lead the project team to undertake the engineering and construction activities related to the project scope and construction phases, oversee consultants, manage technical staff, manage procurement plans, prepare various reports, and develop plans and strategies to achieve the company interests. 

Possesses highly developed project management skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities and work with deadlines. 

Possesses outstanding interpersonal skills to deal effectively with multiple stakeholders and demonstrated sound conflict resolution skills. Strong report writing skills, coupled with excellent presentation and negotiation skills. 

Develops and recommends operational budgets for approval by senior management. Reviews and decides on proposed project budgets—monitor monthly performance against budget to ensure project profitability. 

Oversees the project teams’ day-to-day operations, engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Quality Management to ensure a smooth workflow and project execution to obtain optimum effectiveness. 

Responsible for schedule, quality, budget, risk, opportunities, and resource allocation management.  

Drives ownership culture within the project team while also coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising project team members and influencing them to take action and accountability for their assigned work. 

Defines project success KPI criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle. 

Experience in risk identification and quantification for projects with operations and maintenance components 

Oversees financial performance of projects, assists project staff in identifying potential problems to ensure remedial actions are promptly taken to avoid financial losses and client dissatisfaction.  

Monitor and enforce compliance with established quality control standards, ensuring that appropriate quality assurance activities are performed throughout the project. Reviews QC plans and periodic QA compliance audits. 

Assure the proper Implementation of quality procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards during the whole project life cycle. 

Deals with the escalation of contract disputes to mitigate the impact and support on-time delivery.  

Maintains the project’s positive cash flow by directing and monitoring all billings, payables, and budget control activities.  

Ensure proper execution of contracts with the client, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants. 

Responsible for the project closeout reports and documents, including smooth end over with the client, ensuring the client’s satisfaction, providing the Company with required feedback regarding any special experience, and all changes and resolved matters during the project lifecycle, including actual productivity rates for the executed works.
