· Ensure mise-en-place is prepared according to supervisor’s instructions.
· Ensures that all tasks assigned by superiors are completed, in a timely fashion.
· Ensure any dishes prepared by self are up to correct standard as laid out by SOP,s standard recipes or photos
· Bring to Chef de Parties attention any foodstuffs which has to be ordered or used to avoid or minimize food wastage
· Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are used correctly and maintained in good condition at all times
· Performs any additional or special duties, as directed by a superior.
· Ensures that channels of communication are respected and information is disseminated to the correct receivers.
· Ensures that a safe, hygienically fit working environment is maintained at all times and reports any concerns or faults immediately.
· Attend training session as required for personal development, and fill in personal training logbook.
