Moscow Technology department performs development and support functions for the number of third party vendor/in-house applications used by Traders, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, AML, Compliance of JPMorgan Bank International, Moscow.
As an Application Analyst/Tech Operate, you will be responsible for providing support for a number of locally hosted applications, change and incident management function, risk & control management, 3rd party software vendor oversight. You will be providing technical support for the Application including end-user consultations and effective application technical issues resolution, ready to provide support in shifts (9 a.m. – 6 p.m./11 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
Ongoing support: to provide ongoing support for a number of applications, including Oracle/MS SQL based systems (e.g. New Athena, Central Bank of Russia clearing/reporting software, MOEX software and other); to perform daily system health checks; to provide consultations; to register (in the system), track and resolve incidents; to work with English speaking corporate technology teams (database, OS and network administrators), i.e engage them for a change or incident resolution.
Change Management: to document all the changes in the change management systems (JIRA, Subversion and ITSM); to perform software deployments to UAT (Test) and PROD environment (i.e vendor packages installation, SQL scripts and manual configuration in the system); to support user testing in UAT and fix bugs; register software version changes in the inventory system; to perform pre-deployment software validation checks; to package software binaries for desktop distribution; to create and support associated documentation as well as to do system upgrades, which includes package preparation, proper testing and bug fixing prior production deployment.
Risk & Control management: to perform regular risk & control assessments of technology owned assets; to document and resolve control gaps; to support R&C events (i.e Disaster Recovery or Software Security tests).
Other: to perform analysis of business requests in order to create business/functional requirements documentation for the vendor or internal development team; to deliver small business enhancements and participate in project related activities.
Higher technical education is a must; Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in Technology Support or Application Development role; Knowledge of New Athena program; Knowledge of operating systems (Windows and/or Unix/Linux), databases (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server); Knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL; Knowledge of networks, cryptography applications and/or cryptography principles is highly desirable; English: intermediate or higher.
Knowledge of below systems will be an additional advantage:
Payment processing (SWIFT/UFEBS), Anti-Money Laundering, Currency Control, Central Bank Reg.reporting, Investment products (FX, Money Market, Derivatives, Equities/Bonds/REPOs), Corporate products (Loans, Deposits, Overdrafts and Cash Pooling);
Ability to multi-task and prioritize; Ability to work effectively as a team player; Proactivity; Ambitious, analytical and self-motivated; Strong communication skills; Readiness to work early/late shift (9 a.m. – 6 p.m./11 a.m. – 8 p.m.).
